About the Product

1. What is the difference between a padel ball and a tennis ball?

  • Padel balls and tennis balls may look similar, but they are designed differently for their specific sports. A padel ball uses a shorter, less fuzzy felt, which reduces friction against glass walls and artificial turf. This results in slower bounce and more control, ideal for the enclosed padel court.

  • A tennis ball, on the other hand, has a slightly fuzzier felt to enhance aerodynamics and grip on larger open courts, making it bounce higher and travel faster.

  • Padel balls also generally have slightly lower internal pressure, contributing further to their softer, more controlled play compared to the higher-pressure, faster tennis balls.

Custom Padel Ball:

1. What materials are padel balls made of?

Padel balls have a smooth outer felt cover made from a mixture of cotton, wool and nylon. This blend ensures durability, consistent spin and premium feel during play.

2. Why is the felt made from multiple textile materials?

The combination of cotton, wool and nylon creates:

  • A smoother surface

  • Better durability

  • Stable bounce

  • Improved control and spin

  • This multi-textile mix helps the ball perform well on different court surfaces.

3. What is the standard diameter of a padel ball?

Padel balls typically have a diameter between 6.35 cm and 6.77 cm (approximately 2.50 to 2.67 inches).

4. What is inside a padel ball?

Inside a padel ball is a hollow rubber core filled with pressurised gas. This core is responsible for the ball’s bounce, speed and responsiveness

5. What can I customise on the padel balls?

You can primarily customise your brand logo or text printed directly on the ball's felt surface.

6. Can I customise the colour of the padel balls?

Yes, you customise the colour of the padel balls as per your branding needs.

7. Are these padel balls suitable for tournaments?

Yes, we offer IPF/ITF-standard padel balls suitable for competitive play, depending on the requested specifications.

Custom Packaging:

1 . What is a pressurised/vacuum tube packaging for padel balls?

A pressurised/vacuum tube is a sealed plastic tube that maintains internal pressure to match the pressure inside padel balls. This prevents air loss and keeps the balls fresh.

2. Why are padel balls packed in a vacuum/pressurised tubes?

Because padel balls contain compressed gas inside their rubber core. If exposed to normal air, they would slowly lose pressure.

Pressurised packaging keeps the internal pressure stable, maintaining:

  • Bounce

  • Speed

  • Consistency

  • Shelf life

3. Can padel balls be packed in regular non-pressurised tubes?

No. If packed in normal tubes:

  • The balls would lose internal pressure within weeks

  • Bounce would drop

  • Balls would feel soft and unusable

  • Overall quality would suffer before reaching the customer

4. Does the outer custom sleeve around the tube affect pressure?

No, the outer custom sleeve is only for branding and appearance. The pressure depends on the sealed plastic tube, not the outer sleeve.
