Soft Enamel Pin
Soft enamel pins are created by adding the enamel only once in the recessed areas of the metal and then baked hard. The enamel is below the metal edges, so when you touch the pin, you get a textured feel.
Soft pins are the most popular types of pins because they are versatile (lot of choices in shapes and sizes), of medium quality and cost-effective.
Hard Enamel Pin
Hard enamel pins are created by pouring enamel several times in the recessed areas of the metal and is heated at very high temperatures. It is then polished smooth to ensure that the enamel is at the same level as the metal edges.
These are high-quality, premium looking pins and are also very durable.
Printed Epoxy Pin
Epoxy is a transparent resin that is added on the surface of the pins to make them smooth and bright like glass. Epoxy adds a protective layer on pins and prevents them from oxidization and staining.
Epoxy pins are great for printing complex designs, have a unique 3D effect, and are durable.

Pin Types & Customisation
1. What is the difference between soft enamel and hard enamel pins?
Soft enamel pins have a textured feel — the enamel sits below the metal edges, creating a raised, tactile surface. They're the most popular choice due to their versatility and cost-effectiveness. Hard enamel pins are polished smooth so the enamel is flush with the metal, giving them a premium, jewellery-like finish. They're more durable and have a higher-end look.
2. What are Printed Epoxy pins?
Epoxy pins use full-colour printing covered by a clear resin (epoxy) coat, giving them a smooth, glass-like surface. The epoxy also protects against oxidisation and staining. They're great for complex designs.
3. What are No Colour Die Struck pins?
Also called Die Struck or Die Cast pins, these have no enamel fill — the design is created through raised and recessed metal areas alone. The look and colour come entirely from the plating finish, such as antique brass, metallic gold, or antique nickel, giving them a timeless, vintage appeal.
4. What are sandblasted pins?
Sandblasted pins are die struck pins where the raised areas are polished to a high shine while the recessed areas have a matte texture — creating an elegant contrast. They work best with clean, bold designs and large text, and are popular for awards and souvenirs.
5. What plating options are available? We offer gold, silver, rose gold, black nickel, dyed black, antique gold, antique silver, antique copper, antique brass, and rainbow/anodised plating. Available plating options vary slightly by pin type — hard enamel pins work best with gold, silver, copper, brass, and black nickel, while soft enamel pins have the widest range of plating choices.
6. What base metals do you use?
Pins are most commonly made from Iron Alloy or Zinc Alloy. Here's a quick guide to help you choose:
Iron Alloy — best for simple designs, smaller sizes (1"–1.75"), and budget-friendly orders
Zinc Alloy — best for complex designs, larger sizes (2" and above), and when you want a premium feel
7. What back attachment options are available?
You can choose from butterfly clutch, rubber clutch, magnet, or safety pin backings. Let us know your preference when placing your order.
8. Can I add my logo or numbering to the back of the pin?
Yes, we offer back-stamp engraving for logos and sequential numbering — great for limited edition pins, membership badges, or collectible series.
9. Do you offer glitter or glow-in-the-dark enamel pins?
Yes, we do! Both glitter and glow-in-the-dark options are available and are priced at a small premium over standard enamel pins.
10. Can I get backing cards for my enamel pins?
